About Us

Practice 1 is a modern built purpose building at the foot of Heolgerrig Hill and adjacent to Cyfarthfa Retail Park.

We are a modern, fully computerised, training practice  based in Merthyr Tydfil which is at the foot of Brecon Beacons National Park in  a modern recently built purpose built premises built in 2012.

The practice has numerous travel options to both Merthyr Tydfil  and the retail park by means of trains and buses. The practice is situated in the middle of Cardiff and Swansea.

The practice consists of 2 partners, 2 salaried, 2 locums, 2 registrars, 2 nurses, 3 HSCW , 1 phlebotomist, 1 ANP and you r admin and reception team. 

The practice also has GPSO ( GENERAL PRACTICE SUPPORT OFFICERS) and physio attached to the practice.

The practice list size is approximately 9000 patients. 

The practice operates a zero tolerance policy and would appreciate if this could be adhered too at all times.
